Bell Oaks Farm is located on 40 acres near Freeport, Illinois. Bell Oaks is owned by Klaus Biesenthal, and offers horses and sport ponies for sale, boarding and training, and stallion services. The farm specializes in breeding and raising German Riding Ponies, and stands the well-known German Riding Pony stallion Makuba. Bell Oaks Farm has recently purchased Tigre, a Trakehner stallion registered by the ATA. Bell Oaks offers boarding and training in dressage and driving, and Klaus is also available as a dressage and driving clinician. The Resident Trainer is Kathryn Barry, who has been with Bell Oaks Farm since 2001. Bell Oaks has twenty-four stalls, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, outdoor board with large run-in sheds, and indoor board for horses in full training.
